
Candidates must be at least 16 years old to enter the course. Through video and hands-on skill building, the course features clearly described and applied teaching strategies, including explanation-demonstration-practice, task setting, station teaching and guided discovery. Successful completion of the course will result in an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification. There is a minimum of 4 people for the class to occur.

CSUSB Campus Pool
A valid parking permit is needed to park on the CSUSB campus. Parking is not included with training courses. The closest campus lots are Lot G or E. You need a valid campus parking permit or you can purchase a day pass for $5 at an information kiosk or at a machine ($1 bills only).
Register in person at the Student Recreation and Fitness Center during normal operating hours. Full payment is due at time of registration.
