Buns-n-Motion

Purpose

The purpose of this program is to get the CSUSB community excited about taking their first steps toward a healthy and happy lifestyle. The participants in this program will be introduced to others who share these interests and work together encouraging one another along the way. To get started, complete the form at the bottom of this page.

How this Works

We will provide maps of various routes and their distances to all participants. The participants will then keep track of how many steps they have taken for each day. Each participant will have a log, which they will be responsible to maintain. They are responsible for keeping their own results. At the end of the quarter, each participant that has completed the "Challenge" for that quarter will be awarded a certificate of completion and be entered into a drawing for prizes.

The Challenge

Challenge 750,000 steps; the equivalent to 375 miles. This is the distance from CSUSB to Zion National Park in Utah, just in time to see the colors of fall.

750,000/15weeks = 50,000steps/week = 7143 steps/day (low active)
