Julian is a historic gold mining town located approximately 60 miles northeast of San Diego in the beautiful Cuyamaca Mountains. It is the perfect destination for a one night mountain adventure. Our trip starts with a night of camping amid oaks and pines while enjoying good food, a campfire, and smores. Saturday morning after a hearty breakfast, we’ll hike 2.2 miles to Cedar Falls, enjoying blooming wildflowers along the way. After playing in the large natural pool at the bottom of the falls we’ll enjoy a picnic before heading back to town to explore Julian’s shops and enjoy their famous apple pie.
