Getting certified to dive will be one of the greatest learning experiences of your life. The excitement of learning to explore a new world is one of those adventures that have the power to re-energize. This class is designed for people with no diving experience and includes classroom instruction, pool instruction and open water dives. It is designed to produce comfortable, knowledgeable and independent divers. The classes are priced to include all class/pool instruction, all instructional materials, all openwater dives and instructor fees and of course your Certification Card which is recognized worldwide. Students must attend all class meetings. Upon completion of the course you will receive a PADI Basic Scuba Certification. Students are required to pass a swimming proficiency exam the first night of class.

Class Includes
- 2 classroom sessions lead by a PADI certified Instructor (meet in PE 129)
- 3 pool sessions lead by a PADI certified Instructor (meet at PE pool)
- PADI Open Water Crew-Pak (Student Manual, Dive Table, Logbook)
- Gear Rental (Regulator, Wetsuit, Weight Belt, Cylinder and Air)
- Divers Alert Network (DAN) Student Insurance during Class
- PADI Picture Identification Card

CSUSB Outdoors also Includes What Most Others Don’t
- Soft Gear Rental (Mask, Snorkel, Wetsuit Boots, Wetsuit Gloves and Fins)
- Round Trip Transportation from CSUSB to beach on May 17th and 18th
