We are truly blessed to be in a place that is surrounded by so much natural beauty. Take a short drive up Waterman Avenue into the San Bernardino Mountains and it's hard to imagine ever driving back down. Hike into the backcountry of the San Gorgonio Wilderness (it's the snow capped 12,000' mountain that you can see east of campus) and quickly find yourself among mammoth pines and alpine lakes - a world away from the urban sprawl below. Explore the mountains from the high desert side and spend the afternoon playing in cool, clear swimming holes and soaking in natural hotsprings. Want something to do in the winter? No problem... we have four ski resorts within an hours drive of campus.
No matter where we go on an outing, we find ourselves looking back in the direction of campus and wishing you were here with us.
